I'm Back. But Not How You Thought!

Dearest readers,

Just kidding, I am no Lady Whistledown. But I am returning to my website. Not in the way you think. I have lots of designs swimming in my head and even more that I have sketched out over the years. But after 2021 I had to take a huge step back from running Class Rebel Design. I have no regrets making this decision, however I did miss the creativity it allowed me to have. In that time I quit my last fulltime job due to being burnt out, shipped the remaining Kickstarter dresses, failed a kickstarter(I had high hopes but was ok with the loss), got engaged, went to disney twice, started a new full time position different from what I was doing before, launched a youtube page, ✨got married ✨, got back into cosplay, and now this!

The burnout I should have seen coming, but nonetheless it can happen to anyone. In a way I started Classy Rebel Design out of spite. I was feeling unfulfilled in my full time role, and not reaching the career goals I wanted. I also love cosplay and wanted to find a way to sneakily wear it on days I’m not at a convention. It was a few years of designing before picking something I can land on for a kickstarter. Even with my love for designing I was tired and frustrated with many things in my life. I didn’t want to continue to work on this out of spite. This is my figurative baby and if I was going to do this I wanted to be in a good headspace. So I took some time to figure out what I wanted for myself and the future of the brand.

But the break is over and I am looking forward to a relaunch some time in 2024. But until then I am still creating, hence the Youtube and now a blog.

However if you did miss your chance to back my first Kickstarter, the Renegade Dress is still available on the site in sizes Small - 4X, and after all these years I will say it’s still a personal favorite to wear daily, and to conventions.
